Productive and dining area. A typical day is to help customer set up orders on an inbound call center environment and provide customer service support ; order and done with the order but on a center with rather small cubicles and where co-worker help was unpleasant.

Things have gotten increasingly worse since I started almost 2 years ago. The moral is low to non existent amongst employees and corporates solution to the issue is it's the employees duty to boost the moral amongst each other. Getting any vacation requests approved is almost impossible and every 6 months they change the policy to make it even harder to get vacation time approved.

QVC has changed for the worse as a company and it's reflected not only amongst their work facilities but also through their customers. QVC has some of the worst customers you will ever experience.

People are professional yet can and allowed to have fun along the way. Fun place to work. I worked part time so I never knew my coworkers.

There are no assigned desks but older employees who have worked there while will tell you there are. Able to work overtime if you want to.

Always had job functions to help engage with the employees. I always loved how they tried to m incorporate the employees in working with each other. And tried to bring fun into work. There's also room for promotion as well. Productive Job and has a great lunch eoim. I work through People Share when I work at job.

Was only their for a project but working their was nice experience even though I was temp. They treated me okay and would love work in a environment like that again. Very uncompromising Company to work for. QVC could use better managers who over sees employers.

Money A2Z

But they do have a great point system as far as missing work time. Very good about hiring family. This job was only a temporary job! I worked a night shift and the management was not all that great. People were low on energy and they didn't make an effort to have the same activities that happened during the day for the night shift.

Great place to be at. People are nice and friendly and willing to help you along the way and the place is huge and it's clean. Well taken care of. Best place I've ever worked. The position I held at this job is decent for moms looking for part time work or college students.

Very fast past environment, learn a lot about various products and vert repetitious.

Well only being there for a short period of time, I must say it was a good organization to work for while enjoying the work atmosphere and quality of work set before me. Although this happen to be a seasonal job for me I received some good experience while working there.

QVC Host Lisa Robertson's Final Episode

The most enjoyable part of my job is working with the guests, vendors and show hosts. You deal with a lot of different personalities and issues that might come up during the day.

But it is not. I do not feel they care about their employees. You get 10npoints per year and it takes a year to drop the points, which is crazy. I don't understand how you have vacation and have to be placed on a waitlist to use your own time, and then at that they don't approve it all the time. Great of long timers. As an associate, work life is pretty good, being part of management is not that great. No room for advancement unless you would like to transfer every couple of years.

Easy job with alot of employee appreciation. In a typical day I would come in and login on my computer and the phone system to start receiving customer calls.

Every call was different. You could be placing an order for someone or cancelling one. I would also search for a certain product for a customer or suggesting a product. In the customer service department I would check the QVC credit card issues, cancel orders handle returns for them or sending a replacement item. Some parts of the management weren't very understanding with people with disabilities and the issues they had to take care of during their shift. It felt like some employees were treated differently than others.

That was the hardest part for me because I am someone with a disability and I had to take care of medical issues at random times during my shift and it always seemed like I was "coached" on that when it was beyond my control. I loved my co-workers and handling different calls because no calls were exactly the same.

Lots of employee appreciation, great people to work with, great medical benefits. Not understanding issues people with disabilities had, working on major holidays. People are cool to work with. Have a full size cafe a game room with a pool table and ps4 and frequently get free stuff like shirts cups. You'll occasionally get free lunch.

This is a great place to work but when you are sick or dealing with other issues u can not take off unless u have personal time they do not honor doctors notes and management needs to be more supportive. Want to know more about working here?
